Steps are categories of checklist items, often assigned to different weeks. A Step contains job search activities related to a similar process or goal, such as networking or preparing for an interview. To view all job search activities within a given Step, tap on the Step button below the progress indicator near the center of the home screen.
-
A Checklist Item, otherwise referred to as a task or job search activity, is an item to be completed in Go Archer for one of the steps. Each Checklist Item is important for your progress in your search–Go Archer’s checklist is a collection of curated tasks specifically formulated to give you a guided path to achieve your career goals. It is important to focus on each item in the week it is assigned.

Your email address is how we keep track of your progress between visits so that you can pick up where you left off on your next visit. Your email is your unique identifier, so it must remain the same. If you changed your email, we would no longer know who you were or be able to recognize all the hard work that you have already done!

You know yourself best! Our process is designed to take approximately four (4) months to complete by someone who is juggling school and/or a job along with engaging this process. Some people will spend more than 4 months, some will spend less. So, we provide options. (And we have designed it so that you can take breaks, and you should take breaks!)

We have designed our application around a mountain climbing motif. Like climbing a mountain, preparing for a case interview is a process and it will take some time, so pace yourself and take breaks – just like you would if you were climbing Mt. Everest.
At the Trek In level, problems are designed to help you make sure that you have a good, solid foundation.
Basecamp Life problems are designed to build on those skills to better prepare for the final destination – the interview.
Acclimatization Climbs problems and cases allow you to hone those skills.
Summit Bid cases and activities are designed to take you through that final practice for the interview and do the day-of preparation activities. Our intent is to help you get as prepared and as confident as you can be for your case interview – your “summit.”
-
An Activity is a domain of business knowledge that is important to master in order to effectively deliver a case.
-
If you’d like a little help getting started, the Lessons are for you! If you feel ready to get going, they are not necessary in order for you to start working problems for the Activity. You can always go back and review the Lesson for any Activity at any time.
-
For each of the Activities, we have four (4) levels of complexity – Introduction, Low, Medium and High. Problems have been designed by our team to increase in complexity, culminating at the level needed to be well prepared to design and deliver a case.
-
No, you do not. The application is designed so that you can follow the guided path or skip around to make best use of your time. Just be aware that if you do skip around, your Dashboard will not reflect 100% completion of any activity or level that you have not completely finished.
-
We have designed a Dashboard that tells you how you are doing at each level and within each activity. For each level, you get a star (coming soon) for each activity once you have completed all of the problems for that activity. You get a trophy (coming soon) for each level when you’ve completed all of the problems for all activities at that level. If you complete all problems for all activities at every level, we will even have fireworks! For each activity, we do provide you with a count of the problems that you have completed at each level of complexity, as a fraction of all the problems at that level of complexity, and as a percentage of all problems for that activity.
-
The application is designed to be flexible, and you can pick and choose the areas in which you want to focus, if that is what works best for you. We also designed the application to provide a guided path, should you be looking for a little more support in getting from where you are to where you want to be, before walking into your case interview. We will soon be adding an alternate home page from which you can easily select your areas of focus without worrying about where we have placed them on the trek to the summit.
